What is BYOD?
BYOD encourages students to bring their own devices to fully engage with the SEQTA, and other third-party software, which the college uses to deliver its subjects.
Students with a device are supported to develop ICT capabilities and STEM skills as they use ICT effectively and appropriately to access, create and communicate information and ideas, solve problems, and work collaboratively in all learning areas at school and beyond school.
The BYOD programs helps students to become future ready for the technology-based society we live in by giving them the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make ICT work for them.
How does the program work?
For your child to gain maximum benefit from the program we encourage you to purchase one of the recommended devices for your child’s use at school next year. Your child then needs to bring the device to the College every day, fully charged and ready to be used.
