Director General Visit

We were honoured to have Ms Lisa Rodgers, Director General of the Department of Education, visit us. Ms Rodgers had heard about the outstanding work we do with our school community and came to present a certificate of recognition to our staff. After an official welcome, including a traditional smoking ceremony, Ms Rodgers toured the College taking in the many positive aspects of the school. An afternoon tea followed, providing an opportunity for Ms Rodgers to learn about research projects being undertaken at the College, as well as our successful implementation of several best practice teaching programs. We were proud to share our innovative approaches to supporting our students, education, community capacity building and our vision for our school with the Director General. We hope that Ms Rodgers enjoyed her visit and look forward to her return.
