Wakakirri Dance Performance

A workshop facilitated by the Wakakirri Dance Association Inc provided an opportunity for a group of our students to intensively explore the art of storytelling through dance. Over three days, with support from the Wakakirri mentors, along with teachers Ms Devenyns and Ms Pearce, the students choreographed a movement piece which reflected their thoughts, ideas, imaginings, and aspirations. They did such a wonderful job they were invited to perform at the 2021 Smith Family’s Big Lunch event where their dance was incredibly well received.
