Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS)

Please remember you must complete a form each year to be eligible for this Government scheme.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scheme ($350 per child reduction in school fees), the parent/guardian(s) must hold at least one of the following:

  • Centrelink Health Care Card
  • Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
  • Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card (blue card).

The concession card must:

  • be valid for at least 4 weeks
  • be valid some time during Term 1
  • have students listed on them.

 

What do you have to do?
Before April 1, 2021: 
You must come into the front administration office and complete the form;
OR
You can email your application form with attached proof of your concession card using either of the following:

  • a scanned copy of the front and back of the card
  • photographs of the front and back of the card.

On receipt of the email and attached images the College staff will sign the witness declaration to verify they have:

  • sighted a copy of the concession card (emailed version)
  • confirmed the student attends the school
  • the email was sent from the email address recorded against the student’s current enrolment information.
